Day 3 Wednesday August 14
Half way there
The activity I enjoyed today was the priority chart. In it we wrote what we did everyday on a chart and on a different paper wrote are priorities in life.
We than calculated how much time we spend everyday for each priority. This helped me realize that I don't spend as much time as I should with my top priorities like my passions and my family.
Neha
Today we did a trust exercise which allowed us to share stories about each other. This built a trust with the others in the class and caused us to get closer to each other. We shared many different stories about ourselves and sometimes others in our life.
I shared a story of one of my personality traits, being introverted, that might or might not be very present in my first impression. This was a very great exercise for me because it helped me open up to people who I never met and allowed me to get better at trusting people and I got to know the people who I am in class with.

Today, I learned even more on how I can improve my oral presentation skils land I also learned what my priorities are in life, and what I believe in. Through the Johari window activity I saw how people view me versus how I view myself.
I liked the lanyard retrieval activity because it showed you can’t do everything alone. I learned how to trust my fellow peers instead of being fully independent.
Erik
Today I learned more about how to work in a group with other people. Normally when I would work in a group with other people, I would try to do the work to achieve the purpose because the people in my group would either not focus or procrastinate. But today I learned how if I communicate with other people while trying to achieve a common purpose I can get the job done quicker without having miscommunications or disagreements.
I learned this through the Lego activity when we had to build a tall boat made out of Legos. My team often had disagreements with each other because we often compared ourselves with the other team who was always far ahead of us. I think that if we did not compare ourselves we could have finished just fine and we should still be proud that we accomplished something rather than nothing.

The activity that stood out the most to me from today was the presenting activity.
When I have to present to a class or any large group of people I normally get nervous, then my brain shuts down. From this activity I learned I have to be more confident and avoid using "um"s and "uh"s.
Gavin
Today was less iNterEstIng to me but still fun. I wasn’t here for half the day because I had a school registration in the morning. When I got here we were in the middle of an activity to find out what other people thought of us and more self introspection but after that we moved onto my highlight of the day, the trust building activity.
We all held onto a closed loop rope in a circle and leaned back, that way it was sort of like a trust fall in that other people didn’t let go. I think we all connected better after that.
Eesh
Today I experienced different aspects of building trust.
My favorite was the one where we stepped outside and used the rope to make sure no one fell. This required everyone to take part or else it wouldn’t work.
Rohan
Today was fun with the activities we did.
I liked being able to practice our leadership qualities in activities like coolaboration in the lanyard retrieval and collaboration, common purpose and controvery with cvilility in the LEGO tower build.Alex
